The out of date accounting software was taking the owners away from getting results in their business. Too much time each month was spent getting accounting information into old systems for BAS reporting.
The Solution
Bizwize reviewed their current systems and software and identified areas where time could be saved through the use of more advanced cloud based accounting software.
We assisted them to implement the new software, set up systems for best practices and then provided ongoing support. Helping with constant improvements to staff knowledge and system use.

Laura went over everything that we needed and then she appointed two women regular hours (three times a week) to best suit our business. Since Bizwize has come onboard I can safely say we are being looked after and nothing is getting swept under the rug.
Not only are the accounts side of things up to date but our appointed admin person also helps me with whatever I need. She was quick to learn our specific software system and takes over when I request leave which is extremely helpful and an asset to this company.
Bizwize has also implemented new and helpful systems such as remote account access so on the two days a week that they are not here if something is urgently needed this can be done off-site in a timely matter.

The housing industry client had a dedicated office person who was responsible for the bookkeeping, but her skill levels were more administrative than accounting based.
Without documented processes in place to handle the accounting software and BAS lodgements and a lot of time wasted chasing staff for receipts the office person was stressed and frustrated.
The Solution
The first thing Bizwize did was review the current systems and made changes to get the integration with Hubdocs working correctly to improve receipt capture.
We set default invoices in Xero and streamlined sales processing. Then set up some easy processes, provided onsite training and fully documented the procedures.
Bizwize also provides phone and email support and checks the completed BAS prior to lodgement.

The administration lady is now much more confident with using the system and has taken on doing payroll as well.

Recently transitioned from MYOB to Xero they were still learning how to use their new accounting software. Combined with the realisation that a lot of their processes were not written down and they had relied heavily on the departed team members knowledge.
